9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of your Life

The 9 Ways to
Be Happy and Make Something of Your Life

Instructions:

1.   Each day write the next new way in “The 9 Ways to Be” post
2. Write a reflection paragraph (at least 12 sentences) about each new way. Include an example of the new way
3. Research, find, and insert a quote about the new way
4. Research, find, and insert a picture depicting the new way
5. Write how you will apply this new way in your life

Way 1: Be Grateful
"Gratitude creates the most wonderful feeling. It can resolve disputes. It can strengthen friendships. And it makes us better men and women."

Way 2: Be Smart
"Train your mind and your hands to become an influence for good as you go forward with your life. Perform excellence."


Way 3: Be Involved in Good Works
"Be willing to work, for it will make all the difference in your life."



Way 4: Be Clean
"Be clean in every way. Delight in being clean. Relish the challenge of standing above and beyond the base trends of the world. You will never regret it."


Way 5: Be True
"Be true to what is right and fair and honest."


Way 6: Be Positive
"There is good all around us--if we will only look for it. When good men and good women face challenges with optimism, things will always work out!"

Way 7: Be Humble
"Don't be arrogant. The world is full of arrogant people. There is no place for arrogance. There is no place for conceit. There is no place for egotism."

Way 8: Be Still

"Find time to drown out the noise of the world. Take time to think about the kind of person you want to become."


Way 9: Be Prayerful

"Prayer will change your life. It will bring you peace. It will give you direction and guidance."
STUDENTS: You aren't required to research and write about Way 9 if you prefer not to, just list it as Way 9, and then work on your Digital Scavenger Hunt.


The 9 Ways to Be Final Reflection
Final Reflection: Write an overall final reflection in your Nine Ways to Be post about "The 9 Ways to be Happy and Make Something of Your Life."
Include:
1)  Your deepest thoughts and feelings about the 9 ways to Be. 
2) A list of the specific ways you are now living and how they are helping you.
3) Your commitment to learn and to apply all the 9 Ways to Be.
